The highlight of our jubilee year was to have been the festival on 7 November 2020. In view of the current Covid-19 situation, we very much regret that this event must now be cancelled.
In our Showroom & Shop, thanks to the safeguarding measures already in place, we are delighted to continue to be at your service.

The name RUM1823 pays homage to our ancestors. RUM1823 is distilled according to an old, almost forgotten, secret family recipe. Our RUM1823 matures for at least seven years in used American Bourbon wooden barrels in our maturation cellar. The content speaks for itself: Full-bodied, orange, liquorice, fleeting wood flavour, caramel, long, warming finale.
Etter really is flying high now: 150 years and 150 centilitres!
The Etter «Original» is now available as a Magnum – perfect for the catering trade, and as a gift, and a real eye-catcher on your sales shelves. The size of the bottle grabs the attention and certainly won't be overlooked - and it's versatile too.
The Etter Original Magnum bottle 150cl are available in the flavors Zuger Kirsch AOP, Williams Pear, Vieille Prune and Vieille Orange.

We are still fired with enthusiasm even after 150 years!
On Saturday, 7 November 2020 from 10 am to 4 pm we are holding our Jubilee Festival and we want to celebrate our 150th anniversary with you. Come and watch the Master Distiller at work, enjoy an interesting tour of the distillery, taste our fine fruit brandies or sip a sparkling Etter Cocktail. Do join us – we look forward to your visit.
Our Jubilee Festival will take place in abidance with the Corona safeguarding regulations issued by the relevant authority of Canton Zug.
Markus Müller loves Switzerland, Zug, Etter and everything to do with kirsch: so he has driven the 500 kms from his home in Heidelberg to Zug on HEIDI, his very special motorbike that he has decorated in the blue and white Zug colours.
A devoted fan of Etter products, he converted his bike and trailer so that it is now the most valuable of its kind and can carry around 1000 miniature bottles of Etter kirsch. For a whole year - our 150th anniversary – HEIDI can be admired in our Showroom & Shop. Do come along and have a look!
During our 150th jubilee, we are looking for the best ETTER picture of the year .... and for that we need YOU! Are you on a skiing holiday, or enjoying a fondue cosily at home, or lying on some exotic beach, or trekking in the mountains or are you somewhere completely different? Just send us a picture of yourself with a bottle of Etter fruit brandy and let us all share the enjoyment of your moments of Etter ecstasy! At the end of the year all the photos received will be judged and the senders of the best three will receive a surprise!

As part of our 150th anniversary celebrations, we are raffling an exclusive tour of our distillery for 15 people on Wednesday 18 March 2020 from 5 until 7 p.m. Gabriel Galliker-Etter will guide you through our premises and familiarize you with the 150 years' history of this craft.

The distillation of high-quality fruit brandies is an art that has to be learnt.
With the jubilee in mind, between 1995 and 2005 we at the House of Etter started putting the best vintages to one side. Blending it very carefully and with heart and soul to a cuvée which was both powerful and full of character. To give it worthy presentation, we found inspiration in one of the oldest labels in our archives. The content speaks for itself: typical, fruity aromatic, striking, unique. The result is 2982 numbered 70cl bottles. A limited edition of first-class rarity. A must for every Etter devotee.
